I began pursuing my own wedding planner journey after being in the wedding industry as an officiant for over 3 years. Giving back to my friends, family and community is super important to me and once a friend of mine knew that I was in the wedding industry and had a background in planning and managing events, she asked if I was interested in planning her wedding and the rest is history.
I love planning weddings because I have a heartfelt desire to serve people and make them happy. That coupled with my need for meticulous organization and background in planning events led me to where I am today.
I like to think of myself as the Carrie Bradshaw of the wedding world. I get the job done, but have fun while doing it.
My wedding superpower is easily that I have an eye for the details – in fact, I’m OBSESSED with them – from the ceremony, reception, multicultural traditions, to the tiniest piece of sparkly decor placed just right. So, in my mind, it’s always about the details and they must be perfect, I’m a true Virgo to the core! My clients appreciate my calm demeanor when under pressure, my quickness to tackle any challenges that may come up, and doing it all with a smile.
